These are travel cups intended for carrying in your hand, a car cup holder, etc. During normal use, they seal very well and do not leak, even when tilted. However, the lid is not screw-on — it seals by pressure only. It also contains two small holes to release steam and air; otherwise, it would be impossible to drink comfortably from the closed cup.

If filled with liquid, these travel cups are not suitable for transport inside luggage or bags.
